Its OK, but if you want features, don't buy it!

Overall Rating:
2 out of 5

From: Alexandria, LA (United States)
Experience: 1 Years
Pros: Coverage mostly everywhere in this state, more minutes than ATT, free incoming,

Cons: NO new features, their internet and web feature on phones is HORRIBLE, NO NEW PHONES (only during December for Christmas), store and 1-800# contradict each other, roaming charges, LIARS in customer service,, 3 year contracts, NO free phones!!!!

Summary: Store and customer service contradict each other. I have "signed" contracts without knowing it, contracts WAY too long for crappy phones that are NOT free. Incoming is nice, and service is great in my area, it covers way more places than others. No new features, Ex: you cant get mobile videos, and they just recently started allowing you to send picture messages to other carriers. They only get new phones during Christmas. Trying to push Blue Nation plan but not taking care of us Blue Regioners. When my contract is "up", if it ever is, I will switch to another company.

Pros: Its cheap and they have nice people and good phones.

Cons: I dont like how if your bill goes over what your downpayment was then your phone is shut off.

Summary: I personally love this service. I never have any problems with my phone. I know that it is better than AT&T, I used to have there service. Keep up the good work guys.

Best you can get in Northern Indiana

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5

From: Warsaw, IN (United States)

Pros: Their coverage is just flat out better than everything else available. I travel all over Indiana, and not one of the other carriers come even close to working in as many areas. Most of their store advisors are awesome (I have found a few bad reps at every company I have had service with)

Cons: Some of their stuff costs a little more than what other carriers charge, but the other carriers phones haven't worked where I needed them.

Summary: Centennial is awesome. I looked at a lot of factors when picking service; phones, rate plans, brand name recognition, etc. None of it is as important as having a phone that works.

Not as bad as they're made out to be...

Overall Rating:
4.7 out of 5

Pros: Great customer service (with the right rep), great coverage, free incoming minutes on new plans.

Cons: Wished they offered newer phones.

Summary: I've always had great coverage and great service in the store. Brandon at the new Auburn store is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the phones and technology. He was able to get my phone set up and activated super fast and really helped me out.

No cell phone company is perfect, but Centennial has definitely been the best for my needs. I also love that you can pay your bill over the phone with no additional fees, instead of going into the store.

Pros: NONE

Cons: High prices, cheap phones, horrible customer service.

Summary: Thanks to this companies mistake my phone was shut off untill my ex wife paid her $1000.00 past due amount because they didn't swich my SSN at the time we split the account.
They are rude, and simply don't care about their customers.

First and Worst

Overall Rating:
1 out of 5
By: Crystal Kempher on Tuesday, August 21, 2007
From: Valparaiso, IN (United States)

Pros: It's a way to call 911...even if you don't intend to.

Cons: Customer service (or lack thereof),price, procedures, billing...the list goes on.

Summary: As the title says, this was my first cell phone provider, and after trying other friends phones and talking to them, would have to say that it is the worst. My bills were incorrect, the information that I got online, in the mail, and on the phone all contradicted each other, and now I've found out that I have to submit a cancellation request in writing *thirty days* prior to actual cancellation, even though my original contract is up in two days. Twice in the last year, my phone has somehow *spontaneously* called 911, and I have had to answer my phone, which had the keylock on, and speak to the dispatcher to let them know that I was not in immediate peril. I honestly warn my friends against using Centennial for these reasons.

Pros: I will say they are a little cheaper than the competetion and have good signal.

Cons: Phones, customer service, phone warrantys.

Summary: I have been with cenntenial for about four years I like there plans and coverage but when it comes to phones they flat out suck. They are out dated and still want to charge you an arm and a leg(where are the latest phones at). There insurance sucks you never know what you are going to get. Manufacturar defects are supposed to be free but depending who you get they will charge you the deductible. If you what the latest phone this is not the place to go. If you want coverage and fairly good signal then do come.

Great Choice

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5

Pros: BEST COVERAGE SIGNAL out of any carrier. I kick cingular and verizon's ass in signal strength. Went to Windsor Canada and had full bars entire time.

Phones are getting better! Biggest Pro is the sim card. I love buying the newest phones off ebay and just sticking my sim in and im done. No hassles with getting numbers transfered!! Love it.

Another pro is how cheap their contracts are in my area. I pay way less than verizon and cingular and I get a better plan. I love their customer

Cons: Not very many stores. Nearest store for me at college is 2 hours away :(

Summary: Love Centennial. Great Choice!!! They will be top choice soon enough, and I already have them and do not want to switch anytime soon. BEST FEATURE: sim card and signal WORST FEATURE: amount of stores

Great Signal and Great Customer Service

Overall Rating:
4 out of 5
By: Mike Krieger on Wednesday, July 04, 2007
From: Stevensville, MI (United States)
Experience: 5 Years
Pros: Great Signal Coverage just about everywhere and good Customer Service.

Cons: Three Year Contract, Minutes don't roll over

Summary: After having several years of good service with Centennial I decided to switch to AT&T/Singular. They had this great phone with the features I wanted and more minutes which would roll over. After getting my new phones I learned that they would not work in my home. I had to go out side to get any signal. After talking to AT&T technical support I learned that their coverage in my area was marginal and this was the best I could expect. Well, I canceled the AT&T contract and Centennial ported my numbers back, no questions asked. The Centennial customer service was great. I don't have the phone I wanted but I have great coverage. We just took a trip to Alaska and Centennial had full coverage in most places.

Centennial Wireless

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5

Pros: I find the coverage is great. Very seldom do I not have service or if I don't someone with another provider does. In fact I am usually the one with service. I get excellent help when I need, service has always been excellent, I have never had to be without a phone. If phone is not fixable, they provide you with the same or comparable phone right then. (If you have there warranty coverage)
Workers have always been honest and have always given excellent advice on plans or choice of phones.

Cons: In the past they had a small selection of phones to choose from, but they have improved tremendously.

Summary: I do not see myself changing providers in the near future and when asked about my service/provider I always recommend it. I vacation 2-3 times a year and coverage is always your biggest concern, Centennial has never disappointed me yet. I am also satisfied with the plans they offer and prices. Definitely recommend to others
