Pros: No contracts. Unlimited plans are mostly straight-forward and are easy to compare, but you must read ALL the fine-print. They're the least-expensive service out there by about $3.00, so I would recommend trying Einstein PCS or another no-contract company first!
Cons: *The crapiest coverage of any provider I've ever used... even in the city of Madison, the capitol of Wisconsin, you didn't get reception 0.5 miles from the mall. Nevermind that there are towers EVERYWHERE. Ask people in your area how their coverage is, I'm sure they'll tell you it's spotty as best.
*Painfully slow web browsing
*Not a good selection of phones, they're all using decade-old technology
*Broadband service is a JOKE. We literally live 2 blocks away from a tower
Summary: I now have US Cellular, who is expensive and requires contracts, but I ALWAYS have reception- anywhere- even out in the boonies or at our cabin in the middle of nowhere.
I could not STAND Cricket! They have ridiculous counter fees and charges they try to impose for simple services. People don't deserve to be treated like this just because they have bad credit or don't want to sign a lengthy contract with a provider.
The only good this was getting rid of Cricket!
