Pros: Great signal, haven't had any dropped calls, great value, free texting & picture messaging
Cons: travel talk is very expensive, phones are expensive
Summary: I had Sprint PCS for the last three years up until now. I switched over to Metro PCS and I couldn't be happier! Seriously - free everything (text messaging, unlimited incoming & outgoing calls: local and long distance, picture messaging, internet) all for 45 bucks, 55 bucks including all taxes and fees! What could be better! I currently use a Samsung A850 and it works very nicely, activation was very easy, and there is no cancelation fee! I was glad I made the switch, and I think you would be very pleased too.
Pros: it has one set rate per month, with many different packages
Cons: you have to live in certain areas to get service, sometimes it is hard to hear the person you are talking to.
Summary: MetroPCS offers a way for you to control your monthly cell phone bill. You know what your bill will be and exactly when it is due, with several options on receiving your bill. They also have several packages available. Also, you must live in certain areas to get the service. Overall I would recommend trying metropcs.

Pros: Unlimited minutes inside the perimeter, 120 minutes free long distance monthly with basic plan.
Cons: Can't use the service much outside the perimeter - no farther south than Jonesboro and no farther east than Snellville. Not good for traveling.
Summary: I signed up for MetroPCS because it was unlimited and I rarely left the city. However, recently I moved to another location inside the coverage area, and suddenly I can't get my calls. I have a Cingular prepaid phone as well that has no problems in Decatur, but my Metro phone often drops calls and has a great deal of static/interference on most calls. Not a good choice if you're using a cell as your home phone, as I am.

Pros: Where else can you call unlimited all the time local and long distance for one low price. Its great for teenagers, my teenage son has the razor and loves it, especially the text messaging.
Cons: The phones are so expensive.
Summary: I am thankful for metro pcs after divorce and being a single parent. I feel safe with my metro service and it meets all my needs and the needs of my teenagers.
