Pros: Low rate, excellent coverage in my area, better in EVERY WAY than AT&T GoPhone
Cons: none so far.
Summary: Bought a cheap phone at Target with 300 free minutes. Had it activated in less than 5 minutes. Decided to upgrade the phone...got a nicer phone also with 300 minutes. Called customer service. Transferred the 280 minutes from the old phone with no problems. Minutes were on my new phone while I was still on the phone with the lady.
She spoke with an accent but perfectly good English..better than some people who are American born and live around here.
Better than GoPhone...service time as well as minutes roll over...with AT&T it's just minutes. When you add minutes, your service time starts all over again.
With AT&T, they charge for a minute whether the other party answers or not. Net 10 does NOT.
I don't have unreasonable expectations that Net 10 is going to be like a full featured Sevice such as verizon. IT does what I need it to do flawlessly.
If you want all the bells and whistles, sign a 2 year contract with the big guys. Don't complain if you get what you pay for with Net 10.
