Special Plan Features: Unlimited, travel, and family plans available within local, state, or national calling areas; Business plans available. Unique Features: Text and multimedia messaging; BREW-enabled MediaPak services offer news, information, and entertainment services.  Pros: Unlimited plans offer excellent value from local calling area. Cons: Roaming rates are expensive for calls placed outside of local calling area.  Family plans are very expensive. Coverage: 16 counties in and around Sacramento, CA. It's not a good idea to take Surewest

Pros: Cheap price. Unlimited minutes.

Cons: The phones are really crappy even with a 2-year contract. Text messages take days to arrive to a phone with another company. No free roaming.

Summary: I just jumped out of my contract! Since Surewest phones can't use internet, there is no CDMA advantages.
