Pros: Many retail stores in area
Cons: Horrible signal, horrible interface and phones
Summary: I have been using Verizon Wireless for 6 years. This year was the worst of them. My phone, the LG enV2 was unusable after they did a software update. They said everthing was fine, but it would not turn on after. I was even in the store, and the people let me borrow a charger, but still nothing. A support associate looked and said the main board was fried. This was just two weeks after renewing the contract. They would not replaced the phone for me, even though I didn't leave the store. They said to buy a new $300 phone, pay $150 for a small chance of fixing it, or pay the termination fee. Verizon doesn't support old phones anymore, so I had to waste hundreds of dollars to continue service. I am now at AT&T, but here is my previous expierience.
I live in Greensboro, NC, where there is supposed to be service. 2 out of 5 phone calls are dropped each day. There is extended network in the Verizon Store and my house. The only reason I have stayed with them is because of good service along I-40, where I travel a lot. Now at At&t, I have traveled thousands of miles without one dropped call.
