Pros: Great looking phones. The EnV is a cool device.
Cons: -Bad reception where other companies phones flourish.
-Customer service was unhelpful, rude and lied to me just to sell me a phone.
Summary: Unable to get service just 50 miles south of Abilene, I went to a Verizon store to discuss a fix.
The sales associate told me I needed to get an analogue phone to get service. Yet, since analogue was going away in the next couple of months I didn't need a two-year contract.
"Don't worry about it." he says. Just come in and we'll take care of it and you won't have to pay early termination, yadda yadda. I believed him, so I bought the phone AND another line to get service where I couldn't before.
I go in to terminate the service and change my plan and what happens? Since those terms weren't "In the Notes", they couldn't terminate the plan without an early termination fee.
The sales rep ALL but called me a liar and now I'm stuck with a phone line I don't use and their is "nothing" they can do.
Poor phone service, extremely poor customer service at the store level. I called into Customer service, explained my situation to the only nice guy that sounded like Fez from the 70's show and he went to talk to his manager. The verdict? they basically said it was my word against his...and I can understand that...if it were a COURT OF LAW. This is a multi-billion dollar franchise that takes a lying sales clerk's arrogant words over an honest customer trying to take the right steps to resolve an issue. I've had issues with their employees before at other stores, but I chalked it up as someone having a bad day; which is something I do as a person, yet shouldn't have to do as a customer in the first place. I was absolutely appalled by the lack of decency a person could have in this situation...and then have the COMPANY back that indecency up? Utterly amazing! I literally couldn't believe what had just transpired. I've been with them for almost 10 years! THAT was an ender!
I terminated my service...late fees and all.
