Experience: 3 Days
Pros: Full Keyboard, Vibrator, touch screen dialing.

Cons: text messaging inbox

Summary: got the phone yesterday and its a decent phone. i love the full keyboard, its nice and spread out which is very helpful.although when you get the notification for a message and you hit view, it brings you to the inbox. the crazy thing about the inbox is that it does not show the messages as they come in. it shows the messages by the sender, it organises all the messages under each individual person. not impressed with the inbox layout but its not that bad of a phone.

It Isn't So Bad

Overall Rating:
3.5 out of 5
By: Alex Le on Monday, August 17, 2009

Pros: Good Phone For Texting. Picture Quality. Mp3 Player. Camera. FM Radio. Video Camera. Good Long Recording Only If You Have A Micro SD. Some What Useful Calender. Alarm. Internet. Connects To Computer. 3G On My Version Of The LG KS360. Bluetooth Works Fine.

Cons: Slow Screen Change. Going To Menus and What Not Is Slow. Texting Usual Gets Glitches Here and There Doing Spaces With The "L" Button Unexpectedly. Phone Shuts Off Randomly. When Talking On The Phone The Other Person On The Line Can't Hear You As Well. Only 80 Letters Allowed For Memos. Should Have A 3mm Slot For Ipod Headphones and Etc. The Whole Phone Should Be Touch, Not Just The Dialing. Doesn't Have Enough Space With Out Micro SD Card. Bad Phone For Calling.

Summary: The Phone I Have Is An Unlocked LG KS360 From Great Britain(I Think). Phone Does Lag At Times When Deleting Text Messages And Rushing To Different Menus. The LG KS360 Does Block Signals Randomly. Its Probably Because The Phone Isn't With The Carrier AT&T. Battery Life Isn't So Bad. You Lose 1 Bar Of Batt. After Listening To 20 Mins Of Songs On Your Mp3. Also 1 Batt. Bar After 2 Hours Of Phone Talk. I Would and I Wouldn't Recommend This Phone To Someone Because. If Your A Person That Wants To Reply To A Text Typing Paragraph After Paragraph. And Would Like To Listen To Music While Texting. Take Good Pictures/Videos Of Memories/Events. Then This Is The Phone For You. But If Your A Person That Talks On The Phone More Often Then You Text. Then This Isn't The Phone For You. Overall I Enjoy This Phone For Texting Mostly. And Phone Calls Occasionally.

Pros: it takes great pictures and I like how you can edit the pictures with silly stuff

Cons: On the keyboard if your going really fast it sometimes skips the letters you put in and they sometime go into a different row. If you record a sound it doesnt really come out clear.

Summary: I really do like this phone! Its really great if you like to text a lot. If you like taking pictures then i recomend this phone for you. I also like the touch screen keyboard... Very cool!

Decent, but frustrating

Overall Rating:
3.3 out of 5
By: Tad Dunten on Friday, June 19, 2009
From: Hines, OR (United States)
Experience: 2 Weeks
Pros: Attractive design, strong speakerphone, good screen

Cons: Not comfortable entering numbers or text on keypad; inconsistent ringer/vibe/light settings; glossy, soft surface scratches easily, shows scratches; MMS/email messages sometimes go missing; hard to tell keys by touch;

Summary: This phone looks very good, at least at first, but has some flawed software design.
***
The case is sleek with a futuristic look about it. The shape of it is comfortable in the hand while it is closed, but less so when holding the phone to enter numbers, text, or navigate menus. The display is fairly large with good color, and visible in most conditions. There is a LED display on the front, which shows the time, Caller ID, or signal icons, with a few options. There is a LED "lightpipe" running down the center, which lights up when a call or message comes in, and pulses while the phone is charging.
***
The camera is adequate for MMS snapshots or Caller ID shots, but not worth going into detail over.
***
Settings for ringtones work for Caller ID and SMS ID, including groups, but other sound settings are confusing and limited to builtin sounds and/or nothing. Combinations of sounds and vibration are even more confusing and frustrating.
***
The keypad is a molded rubbery panel, with raised bars between "keys" which click under finger presses. It only has a phone-type pad, not a QWERTY keyboard (I don't know what phone the other review is of, but it's not this one.) It's easy to hit the wrong key without realizing it, and there are no icons to remind the user which parts of the central ring control which functions. The upper keys, central ring, and center button are used inconsistently in different applications, and it's hard to remember what does and doesn't work for what function.
***
Text messaging is frustrating. It takes several keys to get to send a message unless in reply to an incoming message, and receiving messages can involve several keys as well.
***
Navigating messages is a chore. When messages arrive, opening the phone reveals a message informing you that messages have arrived, offering the choice of opening or ignoring them. When one message comes, it is opened directly; when more than one arrive, the inbox is opened. You can't go directly from one message to another; you have to go "back" to the Inbox, unless one message arrives, which means "Back" takes you back to the main screen, where you have to get to the Inbox to see messages.
***
Sometimes closing the phone puts you back at the main screen when you open the phone; sometimes the phone keeps the same screen you were at when you closed the phone.
***
Ringtones can be assigned from saved MMS sounds, but other functions (including opening/closing the phone) can only be assigned a preselected list of built-in sounds.
***
Schedules and alarms can only be set when the phone has a digital signal, which can be very frustrating in areas with incomplete coverage.
***
Overall, the phone is adequate, but frustrating when its potential seems to have been poorly implemented by bad software design decisions.
