Pros: Durable, easy to useCons: Poor Battery life, hard to see in daylightSummary: It is very durable and survives drops and falls easily. But the battery life is so incredibly bad that I cannot recommend this phone.

UX5000 Nice LG phone
Overall Rating:

3.3 out of 5

Experience: 2 Weeks
Pros: Great reception compared to other phones.
Sleek design.
No charging cradle.Cons: Bad placement of camera lens.
Bad placement of hands-free port.
Poor battery life.
Voice memo ringtones too quiet.Summary: Compared to other LG phones, this phone is an improvement. I did not drop a call in a valley where I'm usually looking at "no signal" on other phones. The position of the hands-free port impeedes the volume buttons on the side of the phone. I don't understand the ability to use a voice memo as a ringtone because you cannot increase the volume of specific tones. The battery life is really the biggest disappointment with the phone, especially when using the speakerphone.

Best phone I've ever owned

Pros: Speaker phone, good menu set up, voice activated dialing, and the camera has great clarity.Cons: Wish I would have traded in my LG 5450 sooner.Summary: Best phone I've ever owned hands down! I broke my last phone and got the LG 5000 and have never looked back. My last phone was an LG 5450 and I thought I was trading down to go to an LG 5000 model from an LG 5450 but that was not the case!

Very Shocked
Overall Rating:

4 out of 5
By: Jonathan Scopley on Tuesday, January 24, 2006From: Vidalia, GA (United States)
Experience: 13 Days
Pros: Great signal quality, good, easy to use menu set up.Cons: None.Summary: I replaced my LG LX5450 cell phone with the AX5000 and liked it from the start. I was shocked at how much better the signal quality is on the newer phone. I get on average two more bars in the same places I took my old phone. The AX5000 has yet to even go into analog mode. Just like other LGs, the menus are easy to see and use. Battery life is typical for LGs, and will have to be plugged in every 2-3 days, especially if it is used a lot. The AX5000 is a video phone and can record and playback 15 second video clips.
