Overall I like this phone, I give it a 3.5 out of 5.
the only things I don't like are:
The terrible battery life, and the outbox only holds 50 texts?
On the phone it says it holds 400 texts. (200 inbox, 200 outbox)
Does anyone know how to fix this?
And, how do you put music on it?

Who's your cellular provider? Because I'm with U.S. Cellular, and they have this battery swap thing going on, and give you a new battery if yours isn't top notch. I seriously get great battery life 4 some reason. But, as far as the music, it should've came with a usb to LG cord you can plug into your computer, and you just transfer files through there. I myself would recommend getting a 1gb or 2gb MICRO SD card beforehand, because then the music won't make you phone slugish. When you've put the music on the card and inserted it into the phone, you can just go to music and it'll automatically read all mp3 and wma files off the card.
eddiegonzalez @ Oct 1 1:59 PM
you put music on it by purchasing a micro(sd) chip and then your charger should puginto the computer and then download it from windows media player its east

Not sure about the outbox thing but I'll help you with music step by step.
1.) Connect your phone to your computer via the usb cable (charger) Your phone will prompt you to either enter as a USB Modem or USB Mass Storage, select USB mass storage and close anything that your computer opens up when you plug in your phone.
2.) Press Start on your computer and go to "My Computer", there you will see all your memory sources, now when you plug in your phone it will be under a "removable disk". So keep double clicking on the removable disks until you find your phone (there will be folders labeled My_Videos, My_Music, ect...)
3.)Now open up the music on your computer in a seperate window, if you can't find it go to Windows Media Player, right click on the song and hit "open file location"
4.) Now simply drag the songs from the music window into your phone in the "My_Music" folder, the files will transfer and your set! :)

I've had this phone for 2 weeks, and believe it or not, I was replacing a HTC Touch PRO, which was a bad experience. This phone, is AWESOME. I send about 150-200 texts a day, starting at 8 am, and I get on facebook mobile ALL the time via internet, and my battery doesn't need charging again until around 3-4 pm. It's a very great touch screen, for those who've had problems with it, probably aren't familiar with how touch works. It also has optional vibration feedback which can be adjusted to your own liking.
Another great feature for this phone, is the directional mouse like keypad it has, for additional style of internet/phone browsing. It gives you the feel of being on an actual computer while you're on the net, because it has a mouse display.
The sound on this phone is Phenomenal. It's very easy to use, which is a plus, you don't have to read any manuals, you can master this phone within 25 minutes, GUARANTEED.
The media is great too! You have 4 different home screens, and the main screen, can be equipped with a slide show of unlimited pictures. The other 3 screens, are for media, contacts, and widgets, which basically are similar to desktop shortcut icons. The camera is SUPERB as well as a good video mode.
The ONLY negative I've experienced, is the messaging Outbox only holds 51 messages. The inbox holds 200, and for a guy like me, I like to look back at prior chats (Which, you can view each conversation in Chat mode too, similar to AOL messenger). I give this phone a 4.5 out of 5, I'm very pleased so far, but then again, it's only been two weeks. Only time will tell.

I hate the fact that my main screen changes pictures. Is there a way to stop this??
12nwcollins @ Sep 16 9:30 PM
Is it capacitive or resistive? How does the battery compare to a Motorola Evoke?
upsettritanuser @ Sep 15 8:45 AM
I have had this phone approx 2 mos and I have already had a battery replacement that didnt work. This phone has no battery life. I unplug my phone from a full night of charging @ 7am and by 1pm, I have to recharge and that is w/out using internet or checking email. Just one or two phone calls. It takes several times often to just get the touch screen to work and it locks ups constantly. This is the worst investment I have ever made.
rabumassu @ Aug 12 4:34 PM
honestly i kind of hate this phone. Had it about a month or so.
cannot save anything from the internet not even pictures
as apposed to my old blackberry
battery life is HORRRRIIIIBBBLLLEE
i can charge it all night and pull it of the charger and get to my destination only to find i have ONE BAR
i cannot find anyway to turn off the alerts for texting other than
turning ALL the sound off
sometimes you have to press a button like six times before the touch screen takes it.
However, sound is great loudest phone ever
music is great on it but yet again
when you play music or get on the internet your battery life dies real fast
final thoughts: i should've gone with another blackberry

Summary: Okay...I had this phone for about a week already, going on two. And so far I have no problems at all. I don't know what people are talking about battery life. Mine last the entire day and I talk/text/and use the internet all the time. I will go down to a single bar...but that is already when I'm at home and getting ready for bed. I charge it while I'm sleeping and it is ready to go in the morning.
It is easy to use. At first I thought I would have problem getting the hang of it. This is my first 'touch screen' phone and my first cell that isn't a 'flip phone'. I love the slide out keyboard, that comes in handy. it took me a day or two to finally get used to the slide out keyboard. I was still in my flip phone mode with hitting the keys 2-3 times for the letter.
And now when I get home I'll load up music onto the phone :) Can't wait!!!
I would recommend this phone.
But I really shouldn't...I dont like people having the same things as me :) hahaha
It is a great phone.

Pros: Internet interface is user friendly, texting is easy, accelerometer is convenientCons: Short battery life.Summary: It's hard for me to say exactly what the pros are for this phone, because everything it does, it does very well. You get multiple options for texting (touch screen, T9, QWERTY keyboard), the call clarity is great, both on my end and the other person's, the touch screen is very responsive, it takes decent pictures and video, and a lot of things are customizable.
The one thing people have been complaining about is the short battery life, which I agree with. HOWEVER, the battery life is short because using the internet and texting are going to suck up a lot of the battery because they require more power than making calls or just letting your phone sit there. Luckily, the charger doubles as a data cable, and you can charge the phone on a computer through USB.
If you're looking for a phone with a lot of extras and mobile internet but you don't want an actual smart phone, The Tritan is the way to go.

Pros: Love the keyboard and touch screen features. Very easy to use and navigate around. This phone is very similar to the iPhone at a fraction of the cost. Cons: After having the phone for 4 days, some of the keys on the keyboard do not work. I may just have a "bad" phone. Battery life could be better especially when using the Internet.Summary: Despite the keyboard breaking, I'm willing to exchange it and try it again.

Experience: 2 Months
Pros: Stylish, sleek, fairly-priced phone, all the gadgets and gimics you would want in a data phone.Cons: Pricy to operate, sometimes shuts off for no apparent reason, and worst of all it LOCKS UP INTERMITENTLY. You can just go to pick up your phone one morning after a night's rest and the display is frozen in addition to the toolbar at the top of the screen lit up in brown with a lock symbol. As much as you try to unlock it from the side, it won't. I soon figured out that taking the battery out of the back of the phone reset it HOWEVER this is not something you should have to do all the timeSummary: Great phone with all the gadgets, very similar to IPHONE style but without the OVERPRICED ticket. BUT something needs to be done about this phone locking up... i don't know if it's the program or because it's such a new phone...
Love this thing!

Pros: Great battery life. No lag like with other touch screen "Smart" phones. Easy to use great volume and voice clarity.Cons: Internet runs slow on here but not bad for a phone that is not a full blown "Smart" phone. Thumb pad could have better control over it. (Yes I have found settings for it.)Summary: I love this phone. Gets good reception. Easy to hear people and fun to play with. Love that it plays MP4 files. My favorite part the accelerometer. Would highly recommend this phone.

Other than that, this phone is great. I can even overlook the lack of flash for the camera. The pics come out great even at night!
I just wish there was some way to get email directly to my phone!
Anyone?
