Experience: 2 Days
Pros: Great screen response, easy to download songs, videos, etc, you CAN send pics to your friends and family, love the widgets!!

Cons: Sometimes the accelerator takes a moment to activate when turning your phone sideways to access the qwerty keyboard

Summary: Ok, so I am a Cricket customer, and have been for a little over 2 years now. And while I have been pleased w/ their unlimited service and even their customer service(contrary to popular belief that it's horrible lol), I have to say I was a little disappointed w/ their selection of cell phones. Until now. I have always been a HUGE gadget girl, I have a P2 that I am able to use as a multimedia platform for syncing my cellphone to by bluetooth, watching movies, etc, so naturally I wanted a cell phone that contained some(if not all) of those features. I have only had the phone for 2 days, but in that short time, I have been able to, download music, download videos, stream tv through orb tv, send pix to my friends and family, and browse a full html browser w/o having to wait a million years for it to load up, as it connects extremely quickly. I have been waiting for this phone for 2 months, and have done alot of research as far as it's functionality goes, and now that I have the phone and can put that research to use, it has not disappointed. Let me reiterate that this is not a SMART phone, but it is a truly functional feature phone w/ some smart phone capability. I haven't tethered my evoke to my laptop yet, but I will be doing that tonight, as it does support tethering. As for the rumors that the screen locks up, I have yet to witness that, and as there were only distorted pics for awhile to show the size of the phone, I can tell you it's a lot less bulkier in person. Well, Noah, I hope this satisfies some of the curiosity about the evoke. I'm a big fan of your unboxings!! :>) This phone is great, and worth the money spent. My brother has an iphone, and he and I put the html web browsers to the test to see which would load the fastest and it was almost a tie as to how fast the screens came up. He was definitely impressed and had to rescind his skepticism of the phone. LOL Great phone, and worth every penny.
