Pros: small & light weight. Cons: Display is weak, battery life sucks, old and outdated compared to other phones you can get (2009) for less than $30 bucks with 2 yr. agreement.Summary: Do not, I repeat, do not invest your time or money on this phone. Not even if you get it for free.

Pros: This phone is smaller then alot of the Nextel phones and is easy to use. It has a nice Color screen and seems to be durableCons: It does not pick up very good signal. Some of the other Nextel phones get better signal.Summary: All in all, I would say that this phone is one of Nextels best due to the small size and it being easy to use. The color screen is a great size. I would like this phone alot better if it got better signal.

Pros: The phone charges quickly. Easy to navigate through the menus. It has an amazing volume. Fits in your hand. Sturdy enough to withhold the abuse of a 1 year old.Cons: None. I am happy with my phoneSummary: I am very pleased with my cell phone. It has all the features that I need. It's compact enough that it fits in my pocket; but, not so small that it gets lost in my purse. My 1 year old loves the ringers and the fact that the phone lights up when it rings.

Pros: Compact and lightweight... That's about it.Cons: The battery stinks, and the reception is terrible. When using the phone I can barely hear the person that calls me and if I try to turn the volume up it is all static and sounds like they are in a tunnel. My external display has now stopped working and the hinge feels like it is going to snap any day now. Summary: Maybe it is just my particular model, but I have had nothing but grief trying to use this phone. If you are considering the i836 for any reason, make sure that you have a trial period before you are committed to keeping it.
