Pros: Reliable.

Cons: Expensive.

Summary: AT&T promotes a 12¢/minute in-state plan. But they don't tell you about the fees. We placed 3 calls for a total of 5 minutes or 60¢. But the fees brought the total to $2.92, that's about 60¢ per minute. Not a deal at all.

Pros: reliable, clear phone service

Cons: The customer service is at least 15 minutes once you can get through the auto directory. If you do not have a simple problem it is impossible for them to point you to someone who can solve your problem.

Summary: I was satisfied for years until I ordered a conference call to be set up by the Conference Call Operator. After receiving the bill for which each line and each minutes is charged $1.14. However, if I had ordered this service online it would only have been $0.12 per minute but the Operator did not inform me of this online option even though I had used this calling method for years before online ordering was available. The result over $700 difference between the different conference call set up method and I could not resolve the problem even by mail.I am now searching for a new service provider as it would have been good business practice to help your customer save money by using one's service.

Too Expensive!!

Pros: Easy to make calls. Direct dial from home phone.

Cons: Cost!!!

Summary: I have had this plan for a few years. They charge a $2.00 monthly fee for it, plus additional surcharges and taxes of nearly $4.00 per month in addition to the $.10 cents per minute for phone calls made. This adds up to quite a bit for each minute on the phone. Stay away if you possibly can.

Pros: Hassle free to set up with new phone service

Cons: Long hold times to speak with Customer Service. 3 - 5 times more expensive than competition.

Summary: I am glad that I shopped around to find another long distance provider at a significantly lower price.

Pros: Their phone service is very reliable

Cons: Their customer service line, a phone tree is terrible and when you complain about it, all they do is apologize but they make no attempt to try and see how they can improve it.

Summary: Whenever I needed to contact AT&T it took me anywhere between 10 to 20 minutes to get through. The phone tree for customer service is very unforgiving. Additionally, I left AT&T because I make very few long distance calls and their charges always exceeded the costs of my calls
