Telna

Overall Rating:
4.2 out of 5
By: Joseph Sibson on Tuesday, August 18, 2009
From: Tooele, UT (United States)
Experience: 80 Days
Pros: The rates are very reasonable and the sound quality is good. I highly recommend telna for those who need to make allot of long distance calls and have documentation of them. Beats using phone cards! Their long distance rates are some of the lowest I've ever seen.

Cons: I don't get a paper bill in the mail. Still I'm able to print one by going online. and I have to pay using a credit card, but bells and whistles add up to big bills. (just ask Qwest)

Summary: I've been searching for a long distance provider as good as Telna for years! Telna is probably the best, and I've experienced little to no problems with their service since I signed up for their long distance plan.

Pros: Works for cellphones! You cannot beat that.Cellphone, landline, calling card- all the same rates.Easy to use, reliable, good call quality, decent customer service,

Cons: Practically none.

Summary: Absolutely the best value. Now I have the same long distance company for my 2 cellphones and the landline. I do a lot of international calling and just the convenience of doing it from my cellphone! Both voice quality and connectivity very decent, certainly not worse than any discount carrier.Great calling card, with the same rates for the within the U.S.and good rates for a use abroad. Honest explanation of things, no dirty tricks, no surprises. Had only one billing problem which was quickly resolved. Sometimes you get dead air, however I had the same problem with all other carriers except the most expensive ones.
I am absolutely happy and can recommend this service to anyone.

Invisible service

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5
By: Cathy Eimer on Thursday, October 23, 2008
From: Tulsa, OK (United States)
Experience: 5 Months
Pros: Pay only when you use. Autodrafted from my credit card with e-statement a week ahead.

Cons: Higher prices than other plans.

Summary: We switched to this plan to get away from monthly fees, and it worked! For the first three months, we did not use long distance from our landline at all (we used our cell phones for the rare long distance call), but then we had a family crisis in another state and were on the phone a lot. This plan allowed us to call anywhere without considering the time of day (all times are billed at the same rate). We got an emailed statement a week before our credit card was billed, which allowed us to make sure there was enough money to cover the bill. Voice quality is excellent (better than my local service sometimes). When I couldn't remember my PIN, I was able to get a new one in minutes. I think this plan is great. I would recommend this plan to anyone who usually makes few long distance calls, but wants excellent service when they do.

3U Telecom 4.8

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5
By: steve no on Sunday, May 25, 2008
From: bin, CA (United States)
Experience: 3 Months
Pros: Simple and no hassle to use. Most of our LD calls are in state so this plan fit our use best. Bill is deducted from credit card every month so there is no paper to mess with. There website shows all your calls up to the last 24 hours. There billing is to the second not by the minute. Saves about 15%.

Cons: none

Summary: See pros above because I don't want to repeat myself.

Long Distance - Did you know?

We do not list plans with rates that differ by time of day or day of the week.

Each plan may only offer two separate rates: Out-of State and In-State rates. We believe in the K.I.S.S philosophy (Keep It Simple Stupid)
