John asks:Hey Noah, I am thinking of getting a new phone on the Verizon network. Currently I have a Samsung Alias. I want to get a phone that has stellar messaging capabilities, like good email support for mutliple accounts, twitter, IM (AIM), and facebook with good web browsing, also. I am thinking of getting a Blackberry Curve, what else do you suggest?... So many questions about Instinct! Here's a first crack at answering some of them, sent via YouTube and here on the site. If you ask me a question via YouTube messaging, I'll probably get to it. But it'll take awhile. Nothing personal, I just respond to the PhoneDog messages and comments faster. And we... Q. How does the Pixon differ from the Omnia? Is it just the camera, or is there more to it?
A. Omnia is a Windows Mobile smartphone. Pixon runs a Samsung OS - it's not a full-blown smartphone. Cheers,Noah Q. My phone plan is up in 2 weeks with Sprint. I'm really not sure which phone I should get I'm looking for a touchscreen phone with a keyboard. In your opinion what phone would be the best and it has to be from AT&T or Verizon. Q. hey noah, love the phonedog site i check it daily and all the reviews you do are amazing. most of the videos from CTIA were all on new phones for sprint, which is fine, but i was looking to get a new verizon phone for Christmas and was wondering if anything new was coming out for verizon anytime soon, or if what they have now is pretty much all they're gunna have. if its possible for you to answer this, i would greatly appreciate it. and if... I saw a video on Youtube, about this woman getting a 300 page bill from iPhone, which was crazy and got me to forget about buying the iPhone, and plus I don't want to... Q. Hey Noah, love the site. Hey Noah - I’m looking for some information on the LG Rumor and Samsung Upstage. I’ve seen the videos and they provided me some information. I would like to know some more information on both phones and I’m curious on how texting works on the Upstage. If you can give me some information on the 2 phones that would be great. Thanks
A. Thanks for the message, and for watching the videos. UpStage is a pretty old model at this... Q. Noah, I was extremmely close to buying the iPhone until I saw the Samsung Omnia in your video. looks tight. how cool is it and is it up to par with the beast made by Apple?
A. I've only had a little bit of hands-on time with Omnia but it definitely looks great. Omnia's a Windows Mobile device, so it should be somewhat similar to the HTC Touch Diamond in that you've got Windows Mobile 6 running underneath with a nicer layer of user... Q. Noah, you have very informative videos and think that you are great at your job. I have a question about Sprint's Samsung Instinct. I am fairly efficient with a QWERTY keypad, but I am so much faster on a T9 layout. Is the Samsung Instinct capable of a T9 text entry?
