Pros: price, voice quality
Cons: customer service, voice mail doesn't work properly.
Summary: While I would love to write a glowing review about this company I just can't in good faith until they do a little more to bring their tech support, software, hardware, etc. more attention. I went with Voip.com after Sunrocket went bankrupt. Sunrocket was way more dependable. Since I have had Voip for nearly a year now I can tell you that voice quality is not bad. However, it does occasionally drop calls for no reason. On several occasions I have been unable to make or receive calls. There is virtually no customer service other than through an online forum. They do try to remedy problems that occur but I don't think they're working with a very large staff. Voice mail has never really worked properly. First of all it logs a message for every call that goes to voice mail, even those that hang up. Therefore when you go to review your messages you have to go through all the hang ups and delete them. The voice mail is sluggish and not as responsive as other voice mails. The phone rarely tells you if you have a message waiting. I am sure this feature was turned off because of complaints from people because of all the hang ups that were logged. What can I say, I guess you get what you pay for, which really is a lot for $200 a year.
However, I don't know that I'll be renewing my contract with this company this year as I haven't seen much improvement over the year.
